Even if Harris plays

Miles has been so reluctant to give this young man a chance I honesty think he won't come out firing and playing to nearly his best ability. He'll play trying not to make a mistake (knowing Miles will be foaming at the mouth to get Jennings back in). I believe the lack of confidence Miles is showing in Brandon will result in a much more conservative player less explosive player.
I've always been a Miles supporter, but I simply can't watch him run this program into the ground anymore.
Here's to 2020.

Different QB same game plan. Run run run.

That sad part is Brandon likely will never live up to his potential.
It's like playing and trying not to get hurt. First thing that happens- you get hurt.
I pray I'm wrong.

You won't be... Miles is going to stick with Jennings in this downward spiral.

Sad part is the D will be nasty enough to pacify everyone with their heads in the sand. We will win in spite of our O 9-10 games.

I'm pretty confident that Harris will lead LSU to a future SEC/National championship.

LSU may run well on TAM and even complete some passes. Hopefully the D will stand up again but you know they are frustrated.
I think when Mills and Martin both tried to pick up that pig fumble and the ball ended up out of bounds, the analysts said it all: "they have been watching the LSU offense all night. Can you blame them"

And he doesn't have to look very far to find an example of Miles doing just that. He benched the QB with the most efficient passer rating (i.e. he wasn't turning the ball over) for JJ in 2011 because of two bad throws.

It's obvious Miles is never going to give Harris the chance to reach his potential. Since he obviously intended to throw this season away anyway, it's hard to imagine why he didn't just go ahead and let Harris get some experience and play for the future. But, for whatever reason, Miles has decided that Harris is not and never will be our QB, so he has put him in mostly bad situations and yanked him at the first sign of trouble. Meanwhile, Jennings has created enough stink to embarrass the skunk population of Louisiana, yet still plays on. This will continue for another two years. Then, in 2017, when Jennings is finally, at long last, mercifully, gone, Harris (if he stays that long) will finally be the starter and Miles will wonder why he isn't ready. And worse, he'll probably use his own incompetence in not bringing Harris along as evidence that he was right to throw the offense away with Jennings for three years.

So you are predicting that Miles will either retire or take another job after this season (or next, at the latest)?

If Harris doesn't get his shot next season, I really expect him to transfer. The kid has a lot of talent and tools to be a great QB. I wouldn't blame the kid, he needs to do whats best for him. No matter what I have a tough time believing he would have any success in this type of offense when you have a coach who will bench you off a bad throw or two. He will try to be playing not to make a mistake rather then actually playing the way the game is suppose to be. Les needs that drilled in his head, its human to make mistakes, its only hurting you worse by handicapping the passing game. My question is why does Jennings get so many free passes? He has all season but when Harris screws up once, its over. I think the writing is on the wall. I pray that something changes but I am now getting to the point where I want anything to happen to cause a change. Its a pathetic excuse to pay millions for an offense to an equivalence of a hs team. I supported Les but he really has lost my respect. He is stubborn, and he is shitting on this team and the program. I will always support Jennings, but sometimes a change needs to be made. At this point and knowing history. If a change isn't made, this program will continue to running its course into the ground with constant 4-5 loss seasons.

Exactly. It's Jefferson and Lee all over again. Lee makes one mistake and he's on the bench for the rest of the season. Jefferson can stink it up for weeks (or years) on end, and still gets chance after chance after chance. Substitute Jennings for Jefferson and Harris for Lee and you've got exactly the same situation again this year.
My theory, based on NO inside knowledge, is that dissension on the team develops and divides the team into camps supporting one QB or the other. Miles, instead of doing what a coach would do and squelching any sign of dissension before it even gets off the ground, simply lets it fester and then picks a side. From that point on, the winning side's QB gets as many free passes as he needs, while the other one is simply decoration for the sideline.

I bet you're one of those tin foil hat guys that thinks there was a locker room situation on 1/9.

Not much will change. The gameplan will be run, run, run, put
Qb under center & have him throw short passed on 3rd down or bombs down the sideline hoping for the receiver to out jump coverage or a PI.
I believe, at this point, we can make the observation that AJ has no pocket presence, no feel for touch passes, & would rather throw to Dural in triple coverage than look for another receiver. Harris will be given the same options, he seems to have better touch on his passes & is a better runner; it would be nice to at least see what he can do....with the same gameplan of course

Different QB same game plan. Run run run.
And that's not counting the times AJ just held the fricking ball when people were running in the clear because he has no goddamned idea how to read a defense.
