Not surprisingly, Alabama is number 1 of the top 7.
Oregon however sneaks ahead of Mississippi State, but the Bulldogs might move ahead of the Ducks due to a game with the Rebels.
I wonder if this is what the selection committee is looking at as they put TCU above Baylor.

Also, Florida State is severely hurting.
One loss and they are WAY out.

why is Oregon (#2 FPS) - 20.6 in this "AGAIN"
Every freaking year and then they get smoked
I thought when Utah beat them maybe one year we could go without these weaklings

Baylor has beaten TCU and Oklahoma.. I have to consider their schedule tougher than OSU's even though they scheduled a joke of an OOC
also their loss is to a much better team.

If Ohio State played a joke of a OOC schedule, they would be undefeated and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

IF, 2 SEC teams make the play-off they will play in the Semi-final game. There is no way the committee takes a chance on 2 SEC teams playing for the NC.

All OSU had to do was beat a shitty VT team at home and nobody would be denying them their right into the playoff.

You'll encounter no resistance here. They didn't win so they don't deserve a ticket punched, but they are certainly still in the discussion.

They have a pretty good shot when you think about it.
Moo State has a tough game left at Ole Miss and the SEC title game if Bama loses... Bama still has Auburn and if they win that the SEC TItle game.
Could the SEC beat up each other and knock each other? what if Georgia wins the SEC CHampionship? surely a 2 loss SEC champion should get in? but they played in the far weaker East... questions/decisions...
Oregon still has the Pac 12 Title Game as well ... TCU/Baylor had easy remaining schedules IIRC>

What I like about the playoff is whoever gets in has to beat 2 really good teams to win a championship. so even if a team questionably makes it in as the 4th slot, if they win the next 2 games there would be no controversy whatsoever.
8 would be better though IMO.

I like 4, truly.
8 would include auto qualifiers which I think is a BAD idea.

You're dumb. I'm also unsure of the Utah loss you speak of.
Please inform me which college football program consistently avoids losing a game year in and year out? Because even Bama has dropped games.. it's really hard to run the table undefeated. And at that, Oregon has had a 12-0 regular season in the last 5 years so why do you have a problem with Oregon dropping a game or two and being consistently in the top 10 each season going back to 2009?

So WVU is really propping up Bama's schedule there eh? That's the only difference between them and MSU at the moment.

Alabama already played Mississippi.
Also the cross over games for Bama were Florida and Tennessee while MSU got Kentucky and Vandy.

Really? Should Missouri get in if they win the SEC with two losses? Their SEC opponents are 18-28 in conference play and they lost to Indiana which is the worst loss possible for any of the contenders. They have conference powers Tennessee (2-4) and Arkansas (1-5) left. What would possibly make them deserving of a bid?

Which truly sucks. They scheduled 3 legit P5 ooc games. Not their fault those teams are flat. They tried and should be rewarded.
Baylor and Miss St are the two who need to be eliminated from all playoff discussion due to their scheduling efforts. It can potentially set a horrible precedent if one or both make the playoffs. The end.
