Grantland's oral history two years ago was really good.

Steve Czaban's radio show this morning was talking about how it would be a great 30 For 30, but the NBA probably doesn't want ESPN to rehash it.

Proof that Detroit might be this countries worst city.

Ron Artest (forward, Pacers): I was lying down when I got hit with a liquid — ice and glass on my chest and on my face. After that, it was self-defense.

You know the majority of people that attend Pistons games are from the suburbs of Detroit.

My pastors wife is from Detroit and they attend games whenever they are up there. He is super white. Her, well not so much...

Probably one of the most surreal sports incidents that's happened that I can remember.

The dad and son storming the field at the White Sox and attacking the Royals coach was insane too

Isn't the arena basically in the suburbs?

I remember watching it with my dad as it happened. I was a junior in high school and we had just gotten back from a high school playoff game.

The thing that stood out to me was that I, as well as John Saunders, wanted to blame the fans at first.

They should have a majority of the blame. At what point did the Pacers go into the stands unprovoked?

Buying a ticket does not give someone the right to commit an assault.

I hear ya. But he certainly escalated the situation. And it definitely wasn't "self defense".

Stephen Jackson had an interview recently and talked about it. Apparently in the locker room after, Ron Artest looks up and goes "y'all think we're gonna get in trouble?"
