Marcus Randall (2004, Sr) 102-162, 63%, 1,269 yards, 9 TDs, 6 INTs
Jordan Jefferson (2009, Soph), 182-296, 61.5%, 2,166 yards, 17 TDs, 7 INTs
Anthony Jennings (2014, Soph), 92-192, 47.9%, 1,353 yards, 9 TDs, 6 INTs
Andrew Hatch (2008, Soph), 25-45, 55.5%, 282 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT
BTW, we're averaging 7.3 PPG (2 TDs, 3 FGs) and 263 YPG on offense in our last three SEC West games.

Jefferson
I'll go throw myself off a cliff now

Yikes, that's a bad list right there.

JJ have us cause for optimism in 2009. He just never improved at all and got worse.
AJ is just completely handcuffed now.
MR was never great, but jimbo called efficient plays for him.
AH is the worst on this list. No arm talent whatsoever.

but wait. he was a senior QB under Nick Saban. I thought bad QB play was a Miles inability to develop QBs thing?

JJ's stats were not bad as all for a true sophomore--especially one playing with the worst run game and worst line we've had since before Saban got here. Rantards were calling for his head the entire year, though.

Agreed, and yet as bad as he was, he was able to complete over 50% of his passes, which is something Jennings has only done in 3 of 11 games. Jennings has thrown 4 TD passes in the past 9 games. FOUR!

His stats are for half a season of work. He split time pretty equally with Jamarcus Russell. I'd also like to see his rushing stats? I really don't know his rushing stats, just wondering if they would help his case any.

What were RP's stats?

And yet Nick still would not play Russell over him. Talk about mismanaging the QB situation and not playing the younger guy with eyes on the future...

51-75 (68%) 694 yds 2 TDs 2 INTs; 52 carries for 207 yds 9 TDs on the ground.
Started two games, played in a few others.

Same years
Jefferson, 112 carries for 171 yards (1.5 YPC) and 1 TD
Jennings, 86 carries for 165 yards (1.9 YPC) and no TDs
Randall, 79 carries for 247 yards (3.1 YPC) and 3 TDs
Hatch, 35 carries for 129 yards (3.7 YPC) and 2 TDs

Jefferson.........duh. all can be said about passing and decision making....however jj was tough and made plays when needed. Jennings just sucks. No progression at all and is hardly and threat when he does run.

Removing my ill conceived point due to Mike Linebacker completely shattering any logic that I thought was behind it with a post further down the thread.

Was the Florida game that year a factor into that?

Russell played in 11 games. He went 73-144 (50.7%) for 1,053 yards, 9 TDs and 4 INTs.
In contrast, Harris has "appeared" in 8 games, going 25-45 (55.6%), for 452 yards, 6 TDs and 2 INTs.
From the above, you can credibly argue that Randall > Jennings and yet Russell got at least 4x the playing time that Harris is getting.
