What do people mean when they call our offense 'Pro Style'?

When I watch football on Sundays I don't see much at all that resembles our offense.

To be fair, most pro teams run a "college style" offense now.

Our 2013 offense was pro-style

this term has been around for a while, and when it first came about this is what the NFL was running.
There
thats your fricking answer
Now shut the frick up about it.
It isn't changing
Bring it up every time someone mentions we run a prostyle offense isn't going to change it,

2 WRs, 1 TE and a RB lined up behind a FB

would you stop making the same thread over and over?

Smash mouth football that sets up the play action. Most NFL teams don't run it anymore and run a lot more of college like offenses. FBs are a dying breed in the NFL.

Its the offense that most pro teams use. The qb receives the snap from under center rather than in the shotgun.

No , no they dont. Maybe 4-5 do.

Nobody knows what pro style or spread or west coast means anymore. Our offense is Big Ten style. Boring. Unimaginative. Ineffective against good defenses. Low scoring. Never gonna come from behind style.
Get a good QB and stop dropping passes and all that changes. See 2007 and 2014 and part of 2011.

the point willie is trying to make over and over again (while valid) is that most NFL offenses actually take more snaps out of shotgun than under center. The switch happened relatively recently and way after they named the style of college offense we run now.
That being said there is actually a lot more to it than just formation type. I am pretty sure the reads ad progressions are different. And there is a generally different approach to throwing the ball, but i am not QB guru.

Ummmm... Don't we have more come-from-behind wins than any team in football since 2005?
Our offense definitely has flaws, but the "come from behind" comment is certainly not one of them.

yes , we get behind, we open up the offense a little more , and low and behold, we suddenly start moving the ball. Who would have thought that?

it's a reference to 2013.
