I'm not here to address any other wacky "connections" - I have just seen repeated over and over that Ritter has a daughter that goes to Alabama and it's just a flat out lie.

They can't ref for their alma mater, children's current school, NOR their children or spouses alma mater. It's in the rules and y'all and I both know if they ignored that rule, Clay Travis, reddit, Deadspin, and every message board warrior would be all over that shite.

And, again, Ritter did not go to Alabama either. If he did, he couldn't work a game in which Alabama is a participant.

Here is Ritter's bio. It looks to me like he didn't attend college.

quote:

2013 will mark his 36th year of football officiating

Started his high school career in Texas in 1977

Moved to Nashville in 1982 and joined the Middle Tennessee Football Officials Association

Over the next 16 seasons worked numerous playoff games and two high school state championship games (Clinic Bowls)

Began his college football career in 1991 when he joined the Ohio Valley Conference.

Worked several NCAA national playoff games during his 10 years in the OVC

Moved to the SEC in 2000 where he still works today (13 years)

Has been awarded post-season assignments in each of the last 9 years, including four SEC Championship games (2003, 2007, 2008, 2012) as well as the 2007 FedEx Orange Bowl and 2012 Fiesta Bowl.

As well as working in the SEC, he is a TSSAA supervisor and the assigning officer for the high school games in the middle Tennessee area.

When not officiating, he works as an executive in the industrial supply business.

Again, don't bother replying to me and asking about scheduling or any of the other "BAMMER RUNS THE SEC OFFICE" stuff - I really don't care.

I just wanted to point out that neither Ritter nor his children went to or go to Alabama.

Using a lie so easily disproven renders the rest of your 8 paragraph, tin foil laden conspiracy screed null and void.

Well, that would explain his obvious kinship with Alabama fans. HEY-O! :rimshot:

.not buying the well coached bullshite. not every year

Especially considering LSU was penalized more than their opponents every year Saban was here except for 2004. I just don't buy that either.

5. where is the explanation for the flag picked up Saturday?

What bugged me was that CBS didn't even make an effort to go back and give much of a replay on those plays either, but they may have just thought "what's the point" if they were picked up. But they did make it a point to show that one pass to the end zone where Collins and the Bama receiver were holding hands over and over again.

I've been told by many people who are well connected that yes she does

Where's your source that she didn't and why is a Bama fan posting in the rant?

To be fair to him about that, that just appears to be his football officiating career. Nothing about his education shows up there.

But I can understand your confusion since to deduce that from your information required deductive reasoning and math.

Why would you....Bama is the beneficiary. BTW nothing in Ritter's bio mentioned where his kids went/go to college, so unless you have information that his kids did not in fact go to Bama be quite and go to the Bama board.

Why does someone who lives in Kansas have a daughter that goes to the University of Alabama?

to be fair, I was out of state and went to LSU. My oos tuition was waived due to a scholarship.

Scholarships at big state school in the SEC are pretty easy to get, especially for OOS'ers. They like the diversity.

Burleson was on the Bama booster payroll and he was allowed to officiate the game. I do remember people claiming Burleson had 2 children that attended Alabama as well.
