The crowd didn't do their part

I was at the Ole Miss game(and last night's game) and the crowd was constantly pushing the noise level to a 9-10.(using a scale of 1-10) the crowd was wild that night and was very special.
This game, however, the noise was anywhere from a 6-8 with it reaching 9-10 levels every now and then. It was pretty disappointing to be honest.
I was expecting the crowd to be as loud as I've ever heard it. But that didn't happen.
Anyone else feel the same way?

That's exactly what the crowd was doing last night.

it's disappointing when your own offense takes the crowd out of the game

It was too cold for our fans

The crowd was definitely louder for Ole Miss.

The crowd was really tight last night. The ole miss game was a much looser environment. The noise level reflected this.

Well, I was in the West Upper Deck for the OM game, and it wasn't all that loud, of course, it is much louder in the lower bowl.
Last night I was in my normal spot in the South EZ and it was loud. As loud as anything I've ever heard in Tiger Stadium, with the possible exception of the '79 USC game.

Well, in the area I sit in (where people usually sit), everybody was standing and hollering just about the whole time. It was loud. The stadium was full through OT and loud. I saw no big issue.

We had the ball for 38 + minutes and lost the freaking game. Al had like 5 snaps in the 3rd quarter and we only scored 3 points.
I mean that is insane.

I agree the noise level was louder for ole miss. I think the players were more up for the ole miss game as well

I think the crowd did their part, but Ole Miss was louder. Rally towels.

Downvote the OP all you want, its true. Crowd was listless. Not loud. Ole Miss I could not hear myself scream. Last night my 9 year old son and I were the only ones around us screaming.
Edited for clarity.

You people apparently were not in the student section. Everyone around me yelled the whole game
