One overtime loss destroys the whole season!

If we won, our team would still be in playoff contention and our fans would be going crazy. And we would be pumped for the rest of the season and probably getting some recruits. But since we barely lost, we dropped in the polls, our horrible fan bases true colors shine, negatigers come out, our season is basically over, recruits probably will want to go to bama, and Bama fans will dog us for 4 in a row. This Loss is like the title game loss. Hard to believe the big change from before and after the game. These kids played their hearts out.

The season is destroyed for me. You're free to feel differently

Gift wrapped the game and lost
I rather lose to them 38-17

Season is over, now you are playing for a 2nd tier or 3rd tier bowl game

I would rather have gotten a beat down then dominate and lose the game like we did. Just a shocker.

Funny, I felt like the 2nd loss of the season pretty much sealed the Tigers watching the playoffs from the sofa.

I said the same and was brought up short. Objectively, it's neither as bad nor as portentous as 1/9, but I feel equally as deflated thinking about losing four in a row to Bama, watching them stay in contention, flushing our season down the toilet, and imagining that stupid fricking Landin Collins eating his undefeated record against LSU for breakfast.

needing a few miracles to play out =/= in playoff contention.

It did, no 2 loss team is getting in.

Had the ball with a little over a minute left in each half and allowed a FG. That is what well coached teams do. They scored at the end of both halves last time in TS. Our players deserve better. You can be happy with moral victories. I'm fricking pissed we had the ball 1st and goal in a tie game with a little more than a minute left and fricking lost.
How about that offensive strategy in OT? Great coaching?

Weird, I thought that happened when Auburn kicked our arse

Jan 9 2012 destroyed this season before it began

I'm not paying to go to a game while Miles is coach. I can save $100 and kick myself in the nuts. Essentially, its the same experience.

Um, no. Lsu still had a chance.

We weren't in playoff contention. We won't be next year.

It did

It's not that we lost the game, it's how we lost the game that bothers me the most.

This was our third loss, actually.

Were winning the SEC championship next year.

I agree. Last night and 2012 hurt way more than last year
