He said he could play, but my opinion, which means nothing is, Miles is dug in with AJ, and barring injury, or a 21- 28 point deficit, I don't think we see Harris.

That being said, I hope there is no need to bring him in.

Well...we'd either be up by 40 or down by 20.

Either way, Miles wants Alabama to feel the need to prepare for Harris. And they had better do just that.

I bet he comes in a few packages but I have no reason to really believe.

I think Harris is a better runner/athlete than Jennings. I know Miles knows there is some weakness is Alabama's defense at times when you make them move sideline to sideline. Wouldn't be surprised to see him come in for some running types of packages if we can't get anything going

They will counter the edge runs by committing the DB's which BH has the ability to hit them over the top, pretty much what LSU should have done on 1/9

Why? What does Harris bring to LSU offensive approach that differs significantly from Harris? Harris probably a better runner, but not significantly better than Jennings (there isn't as much of a difference as there was with Perriloux/Flynn and Jefferson/Lee). When Harris has been in they haven't asked him to run a ton of option, and most of his nice runs have come from broken plays out of the shotgun. We also know that even with Harris, LSU doesn't want to open up the passing game. Basically, he doesn't give the defense anything different to worry about when he's in. Why play him?

As does Jennings. You're not adding anything new or different to the offense by playing Harris.

Doubt it, unless Jennings goes full retard and throws multiple interceptions and we need points in a hurry.

Plot twist.

Jennings has been learning the vanilla playbook while Harris has been perfecting the secret playbook and will start on Saturday.

BH is more of a threat to get around the edge running the football thus providing a situation for him to take advantage of the CB's cheating up,if he were to play.Jennings also can hit the deep ball but he doesn't seem to be as much of a threat to run.

This x1000.

A scrambler like Harris gives Bama fits, and the film on him is all over the place offensively. Miles has a knack for using info, or a lack thereof, to max advantage. I wouldn't be surprised to see Harris in a package or two.
