Wife and I are going to Cabo at the end November for 10 days. Just looking for some advice on do's and dont's and also some suggestions on places to see, eat, and things to do while we are down there. No fishing but do plan on playing some golf and eating a lot.

Danger zone--my neighbors were brutally kidnapped and beaten a few weeks ago. Luckily they bought kidnapping insurance which is what allowed them to be released. Its a war zone.

Dont talk to anyone in the airport, especially the trap in-between the baggage claim and the exit, unless you want to hear about their time shares.
Dont stay at your resort for food, go out
Drive up to Todos Santos

if you do go here is some solid advice, as you're leaving the airport do NOT buy beers from the stands out front, there's a little grocery store about a half a mile down the road towards the resorts, get the driver to stop there and you can get a case for about one airport beer costs, you will be the hero of the van

This. Also, why in the hell is OP not fishing? Isn't this prime marlin fishing time?

Most of everything is except a few resorts and shops. But overall most things are open and running especially in the downtown area.

cool, I thought they'd work fast seeing as tourism is their game, are you staying in town? why not one of the resorts out on the beach, and cab it in town?

what I was thinking, there are fish in the ocean and when they sea food they're going to eat

Staying at the Playa Grande. I have a boat and enjoy getting out to fish when I can. Just don't know if I will fish or not, got to see how things go while down there.

Costco is supposed to have the best exchange rate in town as well, FWIW

Just got back couple weeks ago. Everything is up and running and as awesome as ever.
Already looking forward to next trip.
Food you cant go wrong with off the top of my head:
La Dolce
Baja Cantina
The Office for breakfast
Bar Esquina
Mango Deck
Nightlife:
The Nowhere Bar
Pink Kitty
Cabo Wabo
Saloon
Giggling Marlin
Mandela was awesome but was leveled by the Hurricane.
They were working 24/7 putting it back together when I was there.
The "prime marlin fishing" being spoke of produced zero marlins for us in the tournament.

I was there the week before the hurricane hit. I had a great time. Stayed at a resort on the beach in Cabo San Lucas. It was the Sandos which is right next to the marina as well.
We paid a water taxi a few bucks to take us to the Arch which was cool. The resort was all inclusive but we still wanted to go off and try some restaurants in town. Patagonia was a really good Argentine steakhouse with great service. Went to Maro's Shrimp House, which is a little touristy, but the lobster and shrimp were real good.

Drive to La Paz and go snorkling with whale sharks.
Take a water taxi out to snorkel at Pelican Rock (or walk at low tide).
