You say 76ers, I say OKC.

See, this is fun.

Sure, it can go either way, it's a risk just as it is with keeping Davis. I think Davis is and will be a great player, but I think with him, we'll be stuck as a 4-8 seed rejoicing getting to the 2nd round.

I'd like for us to get to the point where we can legit compete and win a championship. Like I said before, unfortunately with the situation that we're in with this team of 6 legit NBA caliber players, I don't see us getting too much further so why not get what we can for what we have and try to do this the right way?

Did you just see him miss 10 3s and miss wide open layups as well??? oh wait that was his teammates. Davis was not the reason we lost

and how many titles has OKC won? since that's the standard and all

it doesn't go well many times, and only the spurs have won titles with that plan the past like 20 years

OK you say OKC but Durant was not on same level at that age as Davis. Totally different situations

Didn't make playoffs first 2 Durant years. Won less games than Pels. Haven't won championship.

OKC was lightning in the bottle.

How many times has that happened compared to teams in lottery hell?

You're being shortsighted.

We agree here

The team isn't trading AD so this argument isn't valid.

In their first two years? That would be false.

It took them 4+ years to do that.

so titles aren't the standard?

and even if we give you OKC...that's one example in a sea of failures. it's more than philly...sacremento, orlando, detroit, milluwake, utah, atlanta, etc

you can't even use teams like the clippers or warriors either, b/c they've used free agency/trades heavily

Outside of the two rookies the Grizz added this past offseason, Mike Conley is the only player on the roster that was actually drafted by the Grizz. Mainly built the entire team through trades. We would be scary good if we actually used the draft picks we had to draft someone like Harden instead of Thabeet.

The idea of trading away AD may be the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
