I need a few recommendations for Monroe this weekend.

1) I need a breakfast place for me and the wife for Saturday morning. A good bloody mary would be nice.

2) Where would a man be able to sit alone, grab a beer, and watch some of the early football games till like 3?

You should be able to grab that beer at The Field House . You're gonna struggle to find a breakfast with a Bloody Mary on Saturday. Cotton will sell you one on Sunday at brunch.

Probably screwed on that Bloody, but people say Lea's of Lacompte has a real good breakfast. I've never had it. There is a place called Papa Joe's of some such that is supposed to specialize in a "New Orleans style" breakfast, but I'm not sure if it's opened yet.. Pickle barrel will be your best bet for football and beer Sat afternoon. Pretty good food too..

1.) Foodwise, I like the breakfast at The Kitchen or Daily Press. Lea's isn't bad, but I always felt like it's overpriced for breakfast food. And as others have said, I'm afraid you're SOL on a bloody mary.

2.)Trio's should have some games on. For my money, their food is better than most. Pickle Barrel has a better beer selection though. Portico or Daq's are a couple of other options.

I think River Grille in Chauvin/River Oaks is a good place to get a drink. On saturday you may have a small crowd, they make a really good Bloody. The put the vodka in this jar of all kind of peppers, onions and garlic. Food is good but real expensive. They do brunch there, but i dont think they open until 11.

Not sure Daq's still open for breakfast on weekends but bloody Mary was available.

Daq's opens at 9 on Saturday for breakfast, probably your only option for the Bloody Mary. They have a solid breakfast as well.

You're out of luck for breakfast unless you go to Lea's. Several places serve Bloody Mary's including Daqs and Fieldhouse. Either of those places are going to be your best bet to drink and watch football. I live in Monroe and my personal preference is Fieldhouse. They have several TV's that will have every game on. I would not go to Pickle to watch football. Hope this helps!
