President Romney

This guy was one of the most polished, POTUS ready candidates that has been on a ticket in the last 100 years.
He had the misfortune of having his permission slip stamped to run at a time when he had to face the buzz saw of the "Too Big To Fail" first black president.
Any Republican presidential candidate already has a hell of an uphill climb and I honestly believe 2016 is the last time a Republican has any hope of winning the presidency, but if this guy pulls it off, this country is gonna have a few breaths in it that it wouldn't have otherwise.
If he gets there, we will get a spring in our step and snap back for a little bit before the demographics take complete control and we go down hard.

Serious question: What was the conservative/Republican turnout?
I honestly don't remember but don't be so quick to let your fellow voters off the hook on this one.

I would vote for him again in a heartbeat.

I'm not a Romney fan, but I've said it before, if he throws his hat in the ring, I think he wins this go around... So much "I told you so" ammo

Romney was by far the most qualified executive. He'd do great things from the WH.

A tip of the hat to how hard Romney has worked this election season for Republican candidates.
Know where he's spending Monday? In the cold of Alaska campaigning with Dan Sullivan for that important Senate seat.
Class guy, was just too "stiff" in front of the cameras and microphones to get his true personality and inner fire across to the voters.

Agree, but he held back, and didn't go for the throat. His staying above board and keeping it classy didn't represent the fight conservative wanted against a total incompetent rival..

That was his problem - too much of a class act to do the gutter politics thing.
He was such a no-brainer vote for anyone with any rational belief in what America should be.
I am ashamed to live in the same country that voted for that asshat Obama last time.

I'm onboard with Romney as well. I love big gov liberals.

He would have cut tax rates across the board but increased military spending all over the place. And unfortunately his decision making would have been based on keeping himself "polished".
His main benefit would have been cooperation from the House, which unfortunately is just party politics.

Romney reminded me of a country club republican in the mold of Dwight Eisenhower and Bush 41. Those were people who knew how to govern and effectively made very narrow decisions instead of all encompassing like Obama. He also had a very good foreign policy as well and didn't go batshit crazy with the military like Bush 43 did but wasn't complacent like Obama is on foreign policy as well as he wouldn't be caught dead making a statement like the JV squad and going golfing after making a statement on Isis.

It is very odd that you give him credit on this when Syria would have been his biggest downfall?
And I am still waiting on that list of tax loopholes he would have closed.

Despite the obvious trolling in this thread it is good that people see that Romney is the guy. As far as the the Tea Party types, I agree with their core beliefs with regards to fiscal issues but they can eat a bag of dicks for what they do to help the democrats in elections.
Romney was in a no win situation in 2012.
He is our last shot at having a worthy POTUS before the Dems take over forever.

he would have never left the area with the void that Obama intentionally left
now Obama is having to send back resources and personnel to fight the very war that he said he refused to fight any longer, but now from behind (where he professedly likes to be)

The media's guide to the 2012 Presidential Election
Choice A:
His wife had a horse!
He's out of touch!
He doesn't drink!
He's Mormon!
He's a vulture capitalist!
Choice B:
Jay-Z and Beyonce like him.
Mindlessly choose 'Choice B'

Trolling?
