Were 2.5 half games back of Dallas with half the season to go. Romo seems like he's hobbled so who knows if he'll make it the rest of the season.

I think everyone in the NFC West are the teams to beat. So really...we could still be really hopeful about 2nd seed. I don't see us getting the 1 honestly. It could happen but we'd basically have to win out and have others collapse. But hey, it's the NFL

Can we just take it one game at a time please?

Anything better than what I expect (9-7 win div) would just be gravy at this point.

The Lions and Cowboys hold the tiebreaker over the Saints. Yes its possible but expecting the Cardinals to go 3-5 the rest of the way bwahahahahahahhaha.

win the division first and quit worrying about seeds.

The good thing is that winning the division and winning the higher seeds are both dependent on winning games, so I guess your point doesn't matter

I really think 10-6 this year, which should win the division, but won't grab the 2 seed.

The key is the next three home games. Have to at least go 2-1.

Have to sweep the rest of the division games.

If we go 2-1 at home vs SF, Cincy and Baltimore, we need to go at least 1-1 vs Pitt and Chicago on the road. If we manage 3-0 during the upcoming home slate and sweep the remaining division games, the Pitt and Chicago games are likely inconsequential in terms of the division race.

Well that's certainly wishful thinking unless Arizona somehow goes down in flames, but let's be real here. They won 3 games without Carson Palmer AND with the worst pass defense in the NFL... They are sure something else.

If the Saints win out the rest of the way, it would leave us at 12-4. Philly and Dallas are currently contending for the 2nd Seed, but both are without their starting QBs and have been off as of late. I foresee Philly finishing in front of Dallas just because they look more complete at this point.

Then comes 3rd seed... I could see this going to either Detroit or New Orleans. I'd put Green Bay in the mix as well, but I'm going to give it to Detroit because their defense has saved them every game.

4th Seed is obviously between Saints and Carolina at this point. Saints are the much more complete team, evident from the Thursday night game from last week. Atlanta is still in the mix but they would really need to turn their season around to win out, which isn't happening. And the Bucs, well, they suck...

Yea I think we're realistically looking at the 4 seed.

But this scenario kicks arse.

Seattle is 5th seed wildcard come to the dome, We win.

We travel to 1st seed Arizona, they crumble and we're in the NFCG.

Pretty sweet and not all that unrealistic.

8 games left in the season and the Saints are only 3 games behind the cards. Alot of you saying 1 game at a time an I agree with that, but it is fun to look ahead at the possible future games out comes. Looking the remaining games the cards have to play, do any of you honestly think they can run that gauntlet of games without dropping a few games?

St. Louis
Detroit
@Seattle
@Atlanta
Kansas City
@St. Louis
Seattle
@San Francisco

And this is where the rest of the NFC stands after last week.

Good possibilty they can lose to seattle at there house and 49ers at there house.. Wishfull thinking they lose twice to seattle. We would have to win out to end in a tie with them at 12-4, I know its a long shot but a girl can dream!
