she feels that *gasp*, you told your child a well-delivered rendition of reality that a child of 7 years can understand, and presumably, she would rather tell her daughter some "stork" bullshite.
my mom showed me "where did i come from" in 1st or 2nd grade. i knew all the deets around that age
i don't get why that's not more common. hell, it's also the best way to teach kids the "bad touch" stuff re: molestation

please answer my question
Not in the AP. But in the Southern suburb of Madison, Mississippi with 1st grade classes full of Aidens, Braydens and little girls with double first names

We are dealing with the same thing, sort of. This nut job, I'll call her peanut lady, has a child with nut allergies and we follow the school guide lines on this to the letter. Peanut lady has actually been going to school at lunch time and checking the kids lunches to try and enforce her own much more restrictive guide lines for lunches. Last week, this wanker actually took lunches from several kids and threw them away before they asked her to leave. What a nightmare she is.

Were we wrong or is this woman just crazy?
She's absolutely nuts. What else were you supposed to tell her what was going on with her teacher? That she's got a giant tumor growing out of her? Surely plenty of those first graders have younger siblings that have seen their mother pregnant. She's ridiculously overreacting, and it's a good thing you blew the stork myth. I really don't understand why parents get in such a hussy about their little kids knowing where babies come from.

Post her number.
Eta: in retrospect with the last post talking about the stork. I can recall thinking that guys pissed in girls and that's how babies were made. I wasn't far off.

Whoa....pump the brakes.
Your ma showed you a snatch/her snatch in 1st/2nd grade?

kissed wasn't in the OP. What else are you not telling us, i think the ending to this story is mommy and daddy wrestles and baby is made.
We didn't go into detail. It was more focused on mommy and daddy deciding to have a baby. She asked if they kissed and I said yes and the conversation moved to whether she is going to be Elsa or Anna for Halloween.

my kids eat pbj every day, that would be terrible to deal with. I understand a parent not wanting her kid to die though. we have like a blackberry/blueberry allergy in one of my kids classes.

Why wouldn't she just hang up?

How did she get your number?
No idea. She called my wife's cell phone. I still have no idea who this woman is. Neither does my wife - no more than "so and so's" mom.

My kids school is peanut free, not even allowed on campus

see now you are lying to your kid cause chances are there was no kissing involved cause they were married.

Tell her that she is rude and hang up on her. If she calls back tell her that you don't lie to your child and if she believes good parenting equals lying to her children then you'll never hit her standards, and hang up. If she tries to call back, block her number.

I get the no peanut thing and we follow it but this chick is wanting everything grown in the dirt or on a vine practically done away with to include all oils and such and any type of nut derivitive.

The helicopter parents are out of control. All kids are told something at school at some point that their parents would probably rather them not know. It's part of being a kid. You can't control that. I don't understand that hover mentality. I swear, that type of psycho parenting is what has led to the shitty generation of young adults we currently have. Lazy and entitled because mommy always fixes everything for them and shelters them until they're 25.

I don't think I've ever walked fully naked around my kids. They often come into the closet with me while I'm changing/getting dressed and have seen bits and pieces.
My 3 year old pointed to my nipple and said, "what's that?"
