There needs to be some middle ground here. All this "ohh it's the free market" bullshite is gonna drive Uber into the ground in Baton Rouge.

I deliver pizzas. When we get busy as frick on a Friday and Saturday or holidays, we don't double the price of pizzas. You frickin wait for your shite.

Now, if we had an option for a customer to pay double their pizza and let them skip other customers, sure that's free market. But this 3x+ surge pricing is bullshite. Tell a customer it'll be 30 min instead of 15 min and his ride is still $15 instead of $60 and give him the option.

Yeah, the surge pricing is horseshite. Last time I rode Uber, it was $35 dollars to go 2 miles.

I could have gotten halfway to New Orleans in a cab for that.

But people are using it despite the surge pricing. If people stop using it, they will change their pricing system.

More drivers in town would probably help a lot.
