Sometimes the whole may be better than its parts.
The fans may not believe in Anthony Jennings but the team and the coaches sure do.

8-16, and 2 interceptions are real tough parts to overlook.

Loved seeing the Oline play like champions though

When the ball was on the LSU 5 yard line, I did remember that is the exact same spot on the field where he started the Arkansas drive. Of course, we passed down the field against Arkansas.

So, in some sense, Jennings as a player = Miles as a coach?

Game winning drive handing off 12 straight times so clutch

He still can't beat anyone with his passing

Sometimes the QB is the most important player on the roster. Sometimes he's not.

I think most realistic LSU fans see that he is improving and he made some nice plays last night...and can be depended on to convert key third downs. Most of the kids on here, you know the ones that already gave up after auburn and wanted to prepare for the future with Harris, are the ones that are still trashing him.

I think he will continue to get better and better....he was very close to completing a deep pass to dural last night as well...as herbie and fowler were saying.....he just needs to do enough to keep the defense honest, with the running game LSU has.....

He is nothing more than the best option in a year with essentially no options.

Let's hope Harris is ready in 2015.

I'd like to see his stats while he's on the move, because he seems infinitely better while rolling out.

Since they only give him 1-2 reads anyway, they should just keep moving the pocket to keep him comfortable. Give him 2 reads and if they're not there he can throw it away or tuck it and run for a couple yards.

Glad we won but he's only completed over 50% of his passes once since the bowl game...certainly needs to improve

This is somewhat silly.. His poor play put them in the situations to begin with

4 game winning drives

He handed the ball off 12 straight times on his game winning drive last night. Then threw a 2 yard pass. Easy there with the exuberance. He also needed 1 first down to ice the game and didn't get it. 3 straight handoffs and a punt. Obviously he can't take the blame since he did not pass on that drive, but on the same token, the game winning drive was all RBs and OL.

He's not a good QB. This thread doesn't change that

As long as he's the QB (regardless of whether I think he should be), I'll give him full support!

That is about as positive a "spin" as I could come up with.
