10 Years almost in the book - It is TIME to Retire the Miles Doubting

What many of us have taken a while to figure out is that He has a special formula that supercedes all of the otherwise legit criticism of him as a coach.
Here is why he is special:
1) RELATIONSHIP LES - He builds the right relationships that matter most. With coaches, the recruits and the recruits families. It does not matter how you would prefer him to communicate, He communicates with those that matter most to win. The result is coaches and players who will work hard for him.
2) RECRUITING LES - Because of #1, He gets the numbers and "QUHWALITY" of players to have special teams. Depth and Speed and Talent. He gets it and consistently. 2015 and 2016 we be stacked.
3) MOTIVATIONAL LES - When Miles talks to a a young man, he genuinely show belief in the young man, and He also gets fired up when it matters most.
4)BIG PICTURE LES - He knew this was a SET-UP year. While most of us are delusion and think that we should win the SEC WEST every year, Miles knows that it is about setting up "windows of special opportunity", and that is what he set out to do for 2014. He knows that we can still possible do something special at the end of this season, but the realistic Les knows it is about learning how to be a champion for the more likely window in the 2015-2017 seasons.
Is Miles Quirky, hard-headed and a slow on-field thinker? Abso-freakin-lutely.
Is Miles, on balance, a very special HC? Abso-freakin-lutely.
He just does it a lot differently than anyone in the history of college football, and so call him the Van Gogh or Michelangelo.
But....most importantly, call him The Best Coach we have ever had and held onto.
Bow to CLM. He is quirky. He is classy. He is a winner. He has taught me how to appreciate a genius formula that I would otherwise not understand, but after almost 10 years, most are finally "getting" his brand of genius.

Coach Miles is the greatest Coach LSU has ever had. An amazing representative of LSU.

Yep. I will eat crow. I can't call him just "lucky" anymore. He continues to do it on a regular basis. What also gets overlooked is his NCAA best 40+ regular season game winning streak against OOC teams.

Numbers don't lie. Even the people who want him gone have to admit this.

Our fans are so entitled
He's a great coach. Who would we get in his place? Kids love him, he's a hell of a recruiter and he loves Baton Rouge and LSU.
We could do much worse
I think he coaches 8-10 more years and then is our AD or assistant to the AD and retires in Baton Rouge

4 completed passes to wrs and tes. 2 ints. His coaching decision to not start Harris almost cost us a other game.
John Chevis won that game for us.

CLM had me worried in September, but he's holding this team and season together. I'm very happy with the way things are shaking out.

You are absolutely and 100% wrong. Harris wasn't started because he isn't ready. He would have absolutely crumbled in a big game like that. Jennings made a couple of bad throws and a couple of good throws, but the gameplan was the gameplan. Run, run, run, run, play action, run, run, run and it worked.
