Why would anyone purporting to be an LSU fan ask such a stupid question about an LSU icon?

Sorry dude, but I have always had a problem with LSU putting the name of a convicted felon up in lights in Tiger Stadium. It is a polarizing topic for sure. There are a lot of people who agree with me….and there are many more who don't. I believe in second chances and I believe that people make mistakes in the heat of the moment, but do you think a counterfeiting ring is a "heat of the moment" racket?? It was an elaborate scheme, he was in the middle of it, and I would prefer his name not be up in lights for all to see.

And that's fine. Your opinion is as valid as mine. My question is, why go through the effort of diminishing an LSU legend with an inappropriate angola reference when you could have said nothing. We all know he did time for a crime. Going after our only Heisaman winner for something he did 30 years ago is something I don't understand.

this is a man who has EARNED his redemption, his name didn't go up until that was clear...

you sound like one of those people who don't want the ROTC building named after LSU's first president either!!!!

Not only did he do his time for the crime, but he then spent what could have been a lucrative career doing dental work at Angola instead. Did you bother cutting him any slack for that? I guess atonement for one's sins and forgiveness are not in your perfect world. I wonder what we don't know about you that you would rather keep under wraps??
