Tuh-Lane or Too-Lane?

NPR just called it the former.

I've lived in Louisiana my whole life and only heard it as "too-lane"

I've heard it called Tuh-LANE, with emphasis on the last syllable. Not by anybody from La. though.

Only people I ever hear the stupid "tuh-LANE" pronunciation from are ESPN announcers and anchors.
