I think the only chance we have to win this game is if Anthony Jennings pops up like Mettenberger did on his first starting year against Bama

Anthony Jennings is not Mett

But you're right. I just wish there was a chance of it happening.

We need "last drive vs Arky" Jennings to show up. Damn, the future looked so bright for those 90 seconds.

Nothing's going to happen until Jennings makes more than one read. It's really that simple.

Yeah we lost that game. Running game...strong defense and hit your shots down field when called.

It wasn't so much that Mettenberger all of a sudden became a good QB that night, it was that Les was backed into a corner in the first half and realized that he HAD to throw the football to try and win the game. Bama wasn't going to just let LSU line up and run the ball over and over.

It's kind of funny. On several occasions when Les had no choice but to open up the passing game (Ark. last year, Wisc. and Fla.) Jennings has generally delivered with clutch plays. Who knows? Maybe the problem isn't (and never has been) the QBs, but a HC that doesn't trust or allow them the chance to succeed?

Ole Miss isn't unbeatable. All AJ has to do is manage the game. Complete a few 3rd down conversions with the run or pass. We win this game with the oline.
