I personally don't see what this accomplishes.

If you are going to pay the athletes a stipend I really think it should come from the NCAA otherwise this is destined to squeeze the smaller schools out.

Otherwise this is the beginning of the end of college athletics as we know it.

small schools are already being squeezed out. UT makes #100M a year. how can smaller schools compete with that? they just manage the best they can. kinda like moneyball and the oakland As vs the new york yankees. everyone thinks money solves everything. mo money, mo problems.

i mean, how is baylor beating texas? its not a money counting party, its athletic competition.
