Wilson comes across as very fake and I believe that is the issue. The whole not black enough thing is a very poorly worded attempt to discribe his contrived persona.

Yeah and Freeman doesn't say any players told him that. Most likely players said Wilson = fake and Harvin = real and Freeman turned that into Wilson's not black enough.

He's cultivated a public persona that can allow no huge hiccups. He's painted himself like Christ but he already dropped his last bitch

No. It means exactly what we all know it means. He's not a thug. No criminal past, no tats, no hip-hop cred. NOT BLACK ENOUGH.

And his friends are white, not black.

It's disgusting. It's racists on it's face but nobody will give it the time of day.

That is the vibe I get from him. In almost every interview I've seen, he says a lot of words without saying anything. I know that happens a lot with athletes, but he seems to take it to a new level.

That's exactly what it is. Some of the players likely just don't know how to articulate themselves.
