Of course it's in Baton Rouge during the week while everyone is at work

Looks like a larger show is scheduled for this weekend at the Lakefront Airport in New Orleans. They're adding a few more planes for that: B17 bomber, B25 bomber, P51 Mustang, SB2C Hell Diver, & Boeing Stearman.

With the N'Awlins Air Show not coming around this year, this should do for now.

Do you have a link for that? And can you get rides in the B24? My wife's grandfather flew those in the war. Would love to get him a ride.

I work with a guy that did a demo job last month on a old factory in Michigan that made B-17's during the war. The people that owned the place also hosted flights in B-17's. That lucky bastard got to go up for free. The videos he showed me were pretty badass.

Saw this last Friday at the Tallulah-Vicksburg air show.




And these two P-51. The sound of them was amazing.
