Maybe the question isn't really should it be discussed; it's should you judge/care.

I can see it both ways. You're allowed to be picky when choosing a partner, and just like the things they do for fun, the hobbies/interests they have, etc. all lead into how compatible they are for you, how they view sex also factors into that.

It goes both ways. Like I said, there are plenty of people I can picture that I know are married and have pasts that they've chosen to keep to themselves. They are pretty happy in their marriages too. If you happen to be with someone that WILL get jealous about your past, maybe choosing to keep that to yourself is a good thing.

I have plenty of things (not sexually related) that I choose to keep for only me. That's okay too.

I agree.

With my ex the conversation was tense and jealousy was always in the air, on both our parts. Although I had way more info to divulge. And he cared, and judged.

With my current husband it's something we can talk about freely. Def no judgement. I think it's healthy to talk about past relationships.

I'm not going to waste my time seriously dating some chick everyone has boned. Huge red flag, IMO. If it's like a short term thing that isn't serious, you could have fricked all of isis for all I care.

Yep. I like to know up front if she is wife material or 2:00 am drunk call material.

Brah, exactly.
