Which PI rule do you favor? College or NFL?

The spot foul for pass interference of the NFL or the 15 yard penalty for college

Spot of the foul is bullshite especially considering how ticky tack most PI calls are nowadays, so college

College by a mile.
The best PI possible would be a combination of the two. It should be 15 yards unless it's a flagrant, deliberate mugging, which should be a spot foul. Kinda like running into the kicker or roughing the kicker.

I'd be good with a little more yardage for the pros like 20 or maaaaybe 25 but handing out free 40 yard gains is ridiculous

College. NFL rewards a terrible decision by a QB to throw into coverage way too much. A lot of the calls are questionable at best to reward a bad play with big yardage.

I actually kinda agree with this. Something like this:
is probably worthy of spot of the foul, but in most cases the penalty doesn't fit the crime and is too harsh

If They called PI correctly and let the cb play football it would be NFL

College. Especially the way the game is played today.

I like college but I don't like the fact that DBs can just commit the penalty when they're beat. I agree with the idea of a combo. If it's obviously deliberate, spot foul.

I like the NFL rule because if the PI doesn't happen, most likely the receiver makes the catch.
So if it's only a 15 yard penalty on a 40 yard throw, the offense loses a potential 25 yards or more after the catch.
So the NFL rule fits the crime in my opinion.

I used to agree with this until the pussification of the football. Now I prefer the college rule considering how often they call pi.

that works in the NFL bc they're pros, the best in the world. you can assume they'll make the catch
college receivers aren't quite that good
