I would like to hear peoples opinions on Monty.

Heres mine. I was adamant about it last year until we had a bunch of injuries and couldnt really help it. But at what point will Monty be put on a "hot seat." He needs to put up. Seriously. I think hes, right now, an above average coach. But how long will we stick with an "above average coach" and continue to not go anywhere in the NBA.

I think this is the year he needs to prove himself and if he doesnt he needs to get kicked top the curb. Theres absolutely no reason we cant make AT LEAST the #8 spot with our talent. Any good coach should be able to do it. And he cant. HE GOT TO GEAUX!

There are about 10 reasons in the West why they wouldn't get the 8 seed.

They can have a good year and miss the playoffs. For me, the defense needs to be top 10 or close to it. If he can't do that with Asik and Davis, he needs to go.

I think he's an above average assistant coach, but he leaves a lot to be desired in game time adjustments, rotations, and Xs&Os.

Playoffs or bust IMO for him.

He's had an injury-riddled roster, insane roster turnover, and most importantly, AD loves him.

I don't see him going anywhere.

IMO, the injuries and the fact that the team kept fighting are the only reasons why he is still hear. I think he has to make the playoffs or miss them by less than 2-3 games. If we aren't in contention the last week of the regular season (barring major injury bug) HE GONE!

Playoffs or bust imo. Winning a series or at least being competitive in one would be nice as well.

His only saving grace last year was the injuries. If we stay healthy and can't put a winning season together with a pretty solid team? Monty is out of here.

Remember that Monty is not a Dell Demps hire and they've clashed in their opinions on what to do with the team before. Doubt it's anything serious, but I don't believe for a second Monty's job is secure. That seat is plenty warm right now.

Jrue's going to play 30+ mins
Davis gets 30+ mins
Gordon gets 30+ mins
Tyreke gets about 30 mins off the bench
Asik and Ryan Anderson will get significant playing time

When does this superstar missing piece SF that we so desperately need even get on the floor?

The first 20 games of this season are going to be huge for the mood of this board and this team. If this team goes 14-6 then we'll give this season the benefit of a doubt. If this team starts 6-14 then people will be calling for his head.

The single reason I gave up my season tickets this year. Couldn't do a 5th year of drivjng back to baton rouge just watching the idiot make same mistakes over and over.

Still think marcus Thornton was personal and still does the les miles ill prove to you I know.more and you fans are stupid

Hope he wins though
