"The patient claims to have had contact with the Dallas 'patient zero,'" according to a statement from Dana Baird-Hanks, a spokeswoman with the city of Frisco.

This is what confuses me. The doctors tell us that we're fine and that it's not easily transmitted. You have to be in contact with their bodily fluids AND they have to be symptomatic.

Then, someone contracts it (or has symptoms) and the news says, "They had contact with the patient."

I then think to myself, "What the frick were y'all doing together?"

I'm convinced that doctors are in panic-control mode right now. They're waiting and seeing what ends up happening with all this. They don't want to sound the alarm if they don't have to.
Doctors and others helping in Africa aren't catching this shite while wearing full body suits and gas masks if it's hard to catch. I'm not there but I'm pretty certain they're not licking all the victims' open wounds or vomit or anything. If they're catching it with all the protective gear they're wearing, then it's easily transferred.

We don't even know if this person actually had contact, could be a nut job. Either way its incredibly irresponsible.
