I figured it would be Thursday at least before the sunshine pumpers came back around. These are the same guys predicting that the all mighty miles would have this team ready to compete for a SEC championship. Now they all say they knew it was a rebuilding year and expected these results.Yes the offense is young, so is A&Ms. Miles can't rely on talent this year it comes down to coaching and that's why we are seeing the results we are.

Can't keep a good pumper down. These poor deluded people are like crabgrass - they just keep popping up all over the lawn.

I think it's called perspective. You get a little farther away from a disappointing game, you hear the perspective of others, you draw on a 40 year knowledge of LSU football and you emerge with...Perspective.

But yes, there will always be a human tug of war between optimists and pessimists. There will always be the irrationally exuberant, the catastrophe syndrome people, and every shade in between.

I'm easy. I just want to beat Florida.

<<<< Grade-A sunshine pumper checking in

I expected a down year and knew we'd hit our fair share of speed bumps on offense. Never did I expect to convert 2 third downs in our first two SEC games combined, nor did I expect us to give up 1,200 yards of offense in our first two SEC games, nor did I expect our offensive line to get absolutely man-handled the way they have. Not. Even. Close. We've pretty much failed on every front and what I thought would be our strength and would make us a decent to good SEC team (our O-line) has been straight up putrid.

It's a long season - we still have 6 SEC games left to try and make this a respectable season - But hoooooly shite, it doesn't look good. We have some serious, serious problems that need to be addressed.

Its called reality.
The reality is no power 5 program has more wins than Lsu since we hired Miles.
No program has been ranked in the top 25 more.
No program has beaten more ranked teams.
Miles has the 3rd highest win % IN SEC HISTORY.
These are facts. Not biased opinion.

Thats because we have facts to back up our arguments. There is no need to go away when we are using facts and you are using opinions.

Its not even close ever. Miles I'd the 3rd fastest sec coach to reach 99 wins, EVER.
Since 1987 lsu has 5 season of losing 2 games or less.MILES HAS 4 OF THOSE.

Its foolish to want to fire a coach with the 3rd highest win % in sec history , when his worst season Was 8-5.

What he said. We're regressing...not showing improvement! Even the most ardent pumper has to concede this and it should be cause for serious concern.

As much as I dislike miles, firing him wont even solve what ails us at the moment.
