re: in the last 5 years there are 4 cfb programs with atleast 9 wins.

Or a better question would be how many bcs bowls have the other teams won in that span? I know LSU has zero.

who are the other 4 teams? Did any of those teams win a BCSNC. I'm seriously just curious

I love the common response of Miles record and winning percentage. Yes he has won 80% of his games while being more talented than 90% of his opponents. With all those wins we have 1 two loss BCSNC. He always manages to lose to one game to a team with equal talent and 2 or three games to teams we should beat. O and then there is the fact it's been 7 years since we have won a bcs bowl.
Pumpers back in full force

I figured it would be Thursday at least before the sunshine pumpers came back around. These are the same guys predicting that the all mighty miles would have this team ready to compete for a SEC championship. Now they all say they knew it was a rebuilding year and expected these results.Yes the offense is young, so is A&Ms. Miles can't rely on talent this year it comes down to coaching and that's why we are seeing the results we are.

I think 17 true freshman are playing
Playing and Starting are 2 different things. The freshman that are receiving a fair amount of PT are our lone bright spot, WRs and RBs. Our veterans at OL and DL are the worst spots.
Royals will take game 3

Tonight Is Simple Big Game James > CJ Wilson. Royals struggle against lefty but will find away to manufacture some runs. Crowd will be nuts. Royals advance

I'm cool with losing 5 games this year if it gets Brandon Harris and LF7 Some valuable experience
What other young guys? Our young guys look much better than our veterans. LF, Williams, and receivers. Other than that we have a SR filled OL that looks horrible. We have a JR and SR filled DL that looks horrible. We have a JR filled LB core that looks horrible. Plenty of experience at DB that looks horrible. With QB it doesn't matter who you put in with this play calling it will look horrible.

He eon 80% because we where more talented than 90% of the teams we played. Now talent is equal and it comes to coaching. LSU has had the most players in the NFL the past few years with no trophies lately. Top recruiting classes most players in the NFL but still manage to lose games we shouldn't year after year. It's on Miles

re: This game will define Les as a coach
Posted by tonymossisboss on 10/4/14 at 8:27 am to FightinTiga
Les Miles has already been defined as a coach. Great recruiting, poor gameday coach. He wins 80% of he games, but we have more talent than 90% of our opponents

re: How many MLB pitchers can throw 100 MPH?
Posted by tonymossisboss on 10/3/14 at 10:50 pm to jefffan
There are other starters who can hit 100 or did earlier in their career. most veterans realize they don't have to put everything on every fastball to be effective. Most starters that hit 96 97 regular could reach 100
