You have a price for the 6?
I have a N4 and 5. I wish otter box would make a case for the nexus line...

Yeah, among others. I've tried 3-4 with mine and haven't really been happy with any of them. I think those UAG cases look cool as shite, but they don't make anything for Nexus either.

Nah, we won't get any word on that until the actual reveal, all speculation. I'd guess $399 for smallest memory and $449 for next size up, I think they'll jump up to 32/64GB variants with the larger phone and price tag to offset it.

Looks like the phone will be announced sometime around Halloween along with android L. Highly likely we will see two variants of the phone (5.2" and 5.9" screens respectively). If the 5.2 has the specs I want, it will be a purchase for me. The 5.2 must haves for me:
If this comes to fruition, I'll be jumping all over the 5.2" variant of the phone.

The tests also suggest that the phone packs a 5.2-inch display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 12-megapixel camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. What’s not clear is what company is making the handset for Google. So far, Motorola appears to be the chosen OEM to develop this year’s Nexus smartphone, and a report did indicate that two Nexus 6 models may come out, one featuring a 5.9-inch display and one packing a 5.2-inch screen, such as the Nexus 5 (2014)
If this comes to fruition, I'll be jumping all over the 5.2" variant of the phone.

Don't get your hopes up, I believe the Moto X is the smaller version of the Nexus 6.

But the price doesn't match. Why pay 100 more for the 5.2 that does not have the same display?(supposedly)

Extra memory? Plenty of things they could offer with it, plus the customization.

I dont get why phones are getting bigger and bigger.
I mean its a god damn phone not a fricking miniature tablet.
Its a bit ridiculous. A 5 inch screen is big enough for a phone.

Reports today that we may see the Nexus 6 reveal on the 15th/16th with the new Nexus 9 tablet made by HTC.

That is what Jobs said about the original iPhone screen and he was horribly wrong.
The consumer will ultimately decide what is too big.

I want the Nexus 9 so badly. First android device on a 64 bit chipset. I will preorder it on day one.

Which really means nothing unless it has the RAM to take advantage of the 64 bit chipset AND apps are written to use that RAM and take advantage of the chipset.

not necessarily. with the A7, 64 bit allowed the chip to run faster even without taking advantages of 4+ GB of RAM. More registers, modern instruction set, etc.

Exactly what colorchangintiger said. In addition, the Tegra K1 64 bit is an incredible chipset.

The problem is, the consumer can't accurately vote on screen size. The high end spec phones are coming in a larger screen size. If the consumer could choose between 2 phones with the exact same specs, except one has a 6" screen and is thin, and the other has a 5" screen but is a little thicker (how ever thick it needs to be to have the same battery capacity and hardware specs), then we might get a fair judgement on what the consumer wants.

Planning on buying the Nexus 9 for Christmas. How long between pre-order shipment and in-store availability? Wondering what kind of deal Sam's and Costco will have on them.

I may get the 9, depends on what it's packing.
