Coming home from a trip and about to start a serious medical regimen the next day, sort of a last meal, but not that serious. No fried seafood, is the Brick Oven still excellent? I will be worn out from flights so I don't want to go to far into town since I have to drive back to BR after.

Am I overlooking an obvious choice?

Brick Oven is still solid. I like the paneed (sp?) veal there

Fiesta Latina is solid

Little Chinatown on Williams is great for Chinese and they have some of the best chicken wings in town.

Mi Pueblito is very good for Latin dishes, might want to check their hours though. It's in a neighborhood in Kenner, not too far from airport.

Pho Sunshine

Or just go to Harbor and order a bunch of raw oysters and a cold Abita beer.
