I mean, I agree that the fans are spoiled and that it's ridiculous that they all seem to leave en masse (even for the big games at stupid times). I'm not challenging that point.
I just feel like some of you need to choke it back just a bit as LSU fans, because some of you have taken this thing as a personal attack against you and yours.
Look, I'm as big a fan as any on here. Have been very fortunate to have spent 35 of my 40 years in Tiger Stadium on Sat nights in the fall. Attended LSU, played snare in the band, father retired from LSU so I spent many a summer running around campus getting into trouble. I have a personal attachment that would be hard to match, trust me. That being said, something must be wrong with me because I don't wake up feeling like the world is crashing down because of the decisions that some other people make to leave early. It's not a "cancer". I understand the whole hyperbole thing, but good lord. Some of you have taken LSU fandom to way unhealthy levels as your identity.
We're approaching Bama fan levels of irrational mindset for some of our own.

Your earlier attestation, although well-written, can only be described as buncombe.
.....and it was funny as hell!

The fans boo Les, not the players. They never booed Lee and last night they weren't booing Jennings, They were booing Less decision to leave Jennings in the game. They only player that I believe that I recall being booed was Jefferson. I agree with the comment about wanting to get rid of our trashy fans though.

So, Reality Tiger, let me get this straight......you are saying that expecting fans to stick around for four quarters.........is somehow........irrational?

Les, you need to sign off and game plan for Auburn.

Yes, that's exactly what my point was.

Yep. That's LSU fans. You described them to a T.
In fact, that's the whole South. No, wait, that's the whole USA. America stinks !

Everyone does not get a trophy. Feelings will get hurt.
Some of the best and craziest fans have been priced out of Death Valley.

Our offensive system sets a QB up for failure, in regards to being an effective passing QB. The fans, as a whole, were booing Lester's coaching not the players.

Fans were booing Les for obvious reasons
Fans were booing the coach b/c they think Jennings isn't the better quarterback.
That's pretty much still booing Jennings.
BTW: Booing only guarantees Miles will be stubborn and keep Jennings in.

It was a great moment for me with Pimp Jr. though. To take that moment to go over the basics of Reality-- the need for Meritocracy through Competition if you are going to achieve excellence, the need to have Thick Skin when you are failing, the need to Support Others when they are struggling, the need to be Flexible and Adaptive when you are in a leadership position, etc.....
If getting booed by a bunch on numbnuts at a football game is the worst thing that happens to Jennings/Miles this week, they will both be fine.

A 19-year-old being booed by tens of thousands of what are supposed to be your own fans. Yeah I'm sure that doesn't affect a 19-year-old at all. It's not like anyone has ever been destroyed by criticism before right

Our fans are not loyal: boo and leave game early; so our players leave early for NFL

When you win, people jump on the bandwagon. Bandwagon fans only go away when the team starts losing. I don't want to start losing, so embrace the fact that we have bandwagon fans and that they are assholes.

Here's a fan who seems to have elevated LSU football into a god to be worshipped.

What do you think hurt Jennings confidence more? The shitty predictable play calling putting him in a tough spot to fail over and over again only to be replaced with a new QB who seemed to have a completely different playbook and scheme that works? or was it a few boos for a coach that we have see pull this shite time and time again?
