Atlanta Golf Question- Piedmont Driving Club

I just found out I'm playing in a tournament next week at Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta. Has anyone here played that course or have any details to share? I have no idea what to expect.
I searched the web but couldn't find the course webpage or much information in general.
Is it located close to the airport? Are there any hotels nearby, not familar with that part of town.
thanks,

I'd call the course to get information. Pretty exclusive.

I've never played it, but I know some members. Piedmont is a fairly prestigious Atlanta club located in Midtown, but the golf course is in the ghetto. I'm sure it's a solid course, however, but it is somewhat reclusive like most private clubs, and hence you're not going to find a ton of public info.
It is relatively close to the airport, so the airport hotels are your best bet of proximity is the goal. Just make sure you stay at a legit airport hotel and not any in the areas surrounding the course (Greenbriar, College Park, Union City, Forest Park, etc.). I highly doubt any of them have any hotels you would mistake for a decent place to stay, but just wanted to clarify if you're unfamiliar with the area.

Yeah it is on Camp Creek Parkway. About a 10 minute drive from the airport. If you want some nicer hotels, the airport is the way to go but if you're interested in being much closer to the course, they have some standard 2-3 stars over in a closer development.
Not a lot going on down in Hapeville. You may want to stay in the city and drive down to the course. Depending on your tee time, traffic shouldn't be too bad headed out of the city in the mornings.

Thanks. Yeah I'm familiar with the area immediately surrounding the airport...not a great part of town.
Ok so I saw a Piedmont located in Midtown and was confused, thanks for clarifying.

Stay in midtown, drive or taxi to the course which is near the airport.

Someone's fancy. And yeah it's a "clothing-optional" course.
