Welter is really the only one people are "bashing." Most folks have just been pointing out weaknesses for AJ to work on. These guys are big boys they can handle the heat.

If supporting our team is bending over and letting someone go in dry, no thanks.

Not bashing Jennings at all, Harris is a better talent.

Not bashing Welter either, he's trying his best. Nothing wrong with his absolute best not being up to standard.

This is a free site for people who dont want to pay. It is full of more people who are just trying to make a mess and aren't true fans. True fans have more class and respect for the program. So for the few sincere don't take it to heart. Yes it's sometimes to much and goes to far but have fun with it. This is the rant. Its full of every kind! If you hear something in person then stand up for your team but on here its pointless unless you just want to rant back at them for fun. Before it's over I will either be deleted or have the swat team surrounding me! I can be just as crazy as the crazy shite on here and even worse! Why not everything's allowed on here?

I agree with you we do need to be careful 'how' we criticize the players...but they aren't above critique and this is a fan web site, it will happen. But open bashing is uncalled for.

When it comes to coaches all bets are off, these guys make more in one week than some of us will make in 3 years, they should be held to a very high standard. Fans calling out coaches has been around forever, and will always be. Sometimes these guys are so close to the situation, and so believe in their own philosophy and schemes, that they can't see anything else and may need to be jarred back into reality sometimes when things aren't working.

Can you link to where an LSU fan said this about Jennings or Welter?

Have no issue with the players...I am sure they are disgusted as well.

I have issues with overpaid, egotistical lazy coaches.

This team is talented and young. Personally I believe this team will continue to improve...then at some point in the future, maybe in a tight game....all the pieces [including the rage] will come together....then look out. Young players age quickly in the SEC.

Still sticking to my prediction

10-2

You know what happens when you corner a wounded tiger?

I never bash the players, it's ultimately the coaches putting players on the field or not and it's them setting up the plays. It's simple our coaches need to STEP the fu*# up and now!!! This team is much better then what I saw Sat. Especially the offense can be much better. The DL can too they just need to make adjustments to what we have and don't have. Let these boys play football the way they know how and put the correct personell in the damn games!!

The players are never the problem it's always the coaching. They call the plays. They recruit the players. They decide on who starts. They prepare the schemes and the game plan. Never bash a player the decision is not made by them.

For those that think AJ isn't SEC caliber, his offer list proves otherwise:

"Anthony Jennings, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Marietta High School, picked LSU out of his final list of 10 schools, which also included Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Oregon, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Mississippi State."

Looks at least 5 other SEC schools felt that he is indeed SEC caliber.

I think the biggest problem is that most people don't agree the BEST 11 players are playing on Offense or Defense. I have to agree with the fans on this one. I have to touch on scheme in order to prove my point. State's front 7 was very tough but the back 4 were extremely weak and exploited by UAB. Now, why we were not in 4 receiver sets with Quinn, Dupre, Diarse and Dural I will never know? We could of found out in a hurry if Jennings was up to the task. My feeling is the State game was an absolute blunder on personnel and scheme. You recruit all this talent in order to do what? The talent gives you versatility and say what you want about Kiffin but he gets the ball to his playmakers and mixes it up nicely. I'm not saying we stay in 4 receiver sets the whole night and abandon the run. I'm saying use all the tools in the bag.

The stats say a lot, 302yds rushing to 98yds. You can't blame that on an inexperienced OLine. I sure hope this improves because if it doesn't L. Collins will be kicking himself for not coming out in the draft.
