if Crosby tug boats keep hitting the bridge and taking it out of service, they will be forced to make an overpass, lol...
but that probably won't happen in our lifetime!

If there was an orange tip on the gun there will be trouble. If not the cop will be put on a desk for a while and then return to the beat in a few months
He shouldn't be in trouble even if the tip was orange. If cops didn't defend themselves against guns with orange tips what would stop thug POS like this kid from just painting orange tips on their real guns?

On a serious note, I doubt this is exactly what happened, but based off the slim facts we have, I seriously question whether anyone needed to die in this situation.
you serious clark?
you seriously question if a police officer, who's responding to a report that a bunch of ARMED people went into a vacant house, shoots someone that points anything resembling a weapon at him?
Why'd the cops find a weapon?
Why do they have weapons?
Why are they in a vacant house?
Why do they hang out at this vacant house so often?
Why did they all run? If they weren't doing anything wrong, you'd think they'd open the door and have a civil conversation with the cop
I'm just glad it was a black cop that shot him, as terrible as that sounds. I'm sure the cop is a train wreck knowing he killed a 14 year old, even if it was justified.

When reporters for WWL asked State Trooper Evan Harrell about the shots being fired in the boy’s back he claimed it was a rumor, but neither confirmed nor denied whether or not it actually happened.
I wonder if the next "eye witness" will say that his hands were up

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office patrolmen were involved in the shooting of a subject while responding to a complaint of multiple suspects unlawfully entering a residence in Village East Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday at approximately 5:20 p.m., TPSO received a call from an anonymous complainant who reported that four to five male subjects had entered a residence armed with handguns on Kirkglen Loop in Village East subdivision. Two patrolmen responded to the complaint and while attempting to make contact with the suspects inside of an abandoned residence on the street, shot an armed suspect. The suspect was pronounced dead on the scene. He has been identified as a 14 year old male from the same neighborhood.
At TPSO’s request, investigators from the Louisiana State Police responded and assumed the investigation.
No one else was injured during this incident.
The name of the deputy involved in this incident is being withheld at this time. TPSO can confirm that the deputy involved is an African-American, a 7 year member of the patrol division, a field training officer and is also a member of the TPSO SWAT team. The deputy has no previous disciplinary infractions during his career at TPSO.
Representatives from the Village East Fire Department, Acadian Ambulance and the Houma Police Department assisted with this incident.

It shouldn't make a difference, but to professional protesters, this is the most important part.

As long as he's at least 51% black, all will be fine.

You mean threads move up to the top of the board? If it doesn't move up to the top of the board then the thread has been anchored.

Wouldn't surprise me. I know the cops had the road blocked behind Rouse' and that there were several police cars heading that way with lights on and blowing through intersections around 11:15am.
