I am not a shish kabob fan, but you can do veggies on a different stick and grab you a stick of each. I take them all off the stick before I eat them anyway.

I agree.. I am not a huge fan of the idea of kabobs either though.

I've never understood kabobs. The meat cooks quickly and tends to get overdone easily without much sear and the veggies never cook enough for my taste when on the same sticks with the meat. Cook at steak or chicken and grill some veggies separately and you have the same thing, prepared better. I take the meat and veggies off the kabob as well, before eating them.

Whenever I make shish kabobs the meat, usually lamb, is marinated first. I never marinate steaks.
