We were pretty good last year. We absolutely blow this year. I don't want to hear ,"they are stacking the box". I have seen with my own eyes guys getting their arse beat one on one. Pass protection might be worse then the run blocking. Guys getting whooped that didn't get whooped last year! WTF rant? Jeff Grimes? New system? It's a cunundrum...

Couldn't block 3 guys for the Hail Mary.

91 owned our arse all night.

Interior line is soft. Tackles are alright, but the our guards can't fire off the ball and get low. They're big though, so they don't get forced into the backfield very often. Like I don't think we've been tackled for a loss on a single running play up the middle once this year. Our O-line is built for a spread attack, something we couldn't run with AJ. If we start Harris, I suspect you'll see more spread principles come into play, forcing teams to only put 5-6 men in the box, allowing our line to focus on their matchups rather than worry about 8 guys blitzing because they don't respect our ability to pass the ball. This would also help our run game tremendously, since there wouldn't be 8 men in the box every time we hand the ball off. Of course, this is all predicated on Harris starting and being able to throw the ball consistently.

The zone blocking schemes seem to be a problem.. That alone doesn't explain why 91 and others ate our fricking lunch all night..

Porter out, Porter in

I think they said they moved all kinds of folks around for this game...

It absolutely has to be Les. There is a ton of talent and experience on that line. If 90% of the other coaches took over our team, our line would absolutely dominate. Everybody on TD knows that. If the talent and experience is there, it must be the coaching. Losing Turner couldn't have affected the line this much. Maybe learning new blocking schemes is part of the problem.

Collins and Hawkins have been good.

V Alexander has been disappointing; seems to be suffering from Joe Barksdale syndrome.

Porter has been awful.

Fanaika has been underwhelming.

Pocic has been inconsistent.

I expected our DL to be troubling this year. I did not expect the OL to be disappointing.

It still blows my mind that Les Miles was an offensive line coach at big college programs (Colorado and Michigan) for 12 years.

We constantly line up in I formation, 1 WR, and two tight ends. Therefore, we constantly have 9 and sometimes even 10 in the damn box, and people wanna know why our OL can't block.

I was seeing a lot of missed blocks. On one screen, 74 never even looked at the corner back while he ran right behind him to tackle the back. Had he just turned to the left and shielded him the play would have been a huge gain. Instead they failed to get a first down. They just seemed to have their heads In their asses for a lot of the game.

I've always been a supporter of CLM, but the whiskey and MSU "slow starts", to me, mean the team was not properly prepared or motivated to play. They have no fire. MSU outhit LSU all game. LSU should never be outhit by anyone. LSU is supposed to be the aggressors. MSU is supposed to feel the LSU hangover Tubby talked about. I hate seeing the Tigers get bullied like that. It hurts my heart.
