Spyderco has some great knives too. Definitely more willing than Benchmade to try out new steels and make sprint runs for production.

Was going to have a custom damascas OTF made by the same guy who made the one pictured. Never got around to it though. Figure I'll pick up a gold class Benchmade one of these days...

Nope. Have a Ka-bar, few bayonets for my Garand, and an old Ontario machete though.

Speaking of, I just inherited a Bayo that served in the Pacific, Iwo Jima was one of its notable vacation spots during WWII. I do not know if it was used or just kept in it sheath....I wish it could talk.

Yeah, unfortunately there is never as much documentation on bayonets as there is with the rifles.
I have an old M96 Mauser bayonet that was a gift that would be nice to know the history of too.

I bought the Adamas fixed blade, saw the auto fkr sale and couldn't pass it up. Definitely better built than my CRKT knives.

I haven't carried a decent knife in years. All I really carry now is really small buck on my truck keys. If I'm doing something that day where I know i'll need a bigger knife often stick my leatherman in my pocket.

I also have no idea wtf a tanto blade is for
I've found the straight edge of the tanto part useful here and there. I liked it when I worked in a warehouse too, more like a box cutter.

Also, the best thing about carrying really cheap knives, you give so little of a shite that you lose or break them often enough to never have to sharpen a knife. Just spend another 10-15 when it disappears and get a sharp knife.

World war 2 jungle machete made into a Bowie knife.

Nice RCBS Trim Mate, Clames. That little tool saves me a lot of time.

Yeah it does. Spent about 30 minutes with the little handheld deburring tool and went right back to the shop to get it. Guy at the counter thought I'd left something behind, he was kinda right...
