OH! Very good catch! This may give a little insight as to what kind of a child they were dealing with.

I teach high school students in Ebr. Most of my students have reading levels of either 5th or 6th grade students. They do study literature, but it becomes more difficult every year as students seem to fall further behind each year.

Good point.
It is crazy that many students in high school can't read higher than a 5th grade level.
