I don't expect him to be the backup. It's been two games. A few weeks ago, Harris was a lock to start as a true freshman by the rant. Now after two games Jennings has the position on lock down for 3 years.

I feel like had Harris been given the reigns against Sam Houston he would have had his feet wet by Auburn enough to beat either them or UF. Going 1-1 in those two is enough to make a run

It's not his time yes. The staff is doing a good job with these guys.
I think that eventually when the knowledge is more even you'll see Harris get more snaps, then eventually he will be the guy. People act like we are just going to let a more talented player transfer "just because". Typical rant overreacting from both sides.

As of right now Jennings is the more consistent, mature QB, who is not overwhelmed in the big moment. He has played well, and does deserve the JJ comparison at all. Harris has more physical talent, but may not be quite ready to the that guy just yet. Next year will truly make for an interesting QB battle between the two. Al. Jennings has done so far is win games, and throw TD's. Stop with the JJ talk.
