1) Say that the EU's turn is up. We can sit this one out.
2) Not pump more American weapons into the region for them to use against us later, when the political sands inevitably shift.
3) Make it clear to Iraq and Syria (read Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Yemen, Egypt, UAE, and Oman) that if they do not contain ISIS and the US is attacked, we are coming in for Shock and Awe Part II Electric Boogaloo. No rules of engagement, no building fricking schools and roads, no bargaining with the locals. We will use the American military for what it was always intended to do; kill people and break shite. We would then proceed to colonize and slurp up their resources, placing all oil into the strategic reserve. I'm DONE with that region of the world.

Offer to lift some sanctions on Iran in exchange for the elimination of ISIS. Also tell them we will back no more rebels in the region and will back off on Assad. Remember Iran hates ISIS and backs Assad. Grab a sixpack and sit back and watch the show.

I'd get a Declaration of War from congress against ISIS based on that organization's killing of American citizens and then I'd take out (using air power and cruise missiles) every ISIS gathering point anywhere in the world including the mosques they use for Friday evening prayers when they gather to pray. The bombing would continue until the organization ceases to exist.

Well first of all I wouldn't have been full on support for the Arab spring. While those dictators were not good guys they kept some of these crazy SOB's in check to protect their power. Had we let Assad whip these guys arses we wouldn't be in this position.
I would then tell the citizens its time to stand up for themselves and fight because if they don't we are going full on arse whipping and bombing any location they are at and if they are a casualty of war its on them.

I would have been ahead of it a couple of years ago when the intel said they were a force to be reckoned with.

I have waffled back and forth on it, but as I sit here today, I would strengthen our own borders and use intel in country to attempt to prevent attacks on US soil.
I think, as someone stated above, I would tell the region that we are out on this one and if you don't fight them and it spills over on us, then we come after you.
I cannot support arming more Islamists, no matter their current position or affiliations. We have seen this work against us down the road every time. It is a failed strategy - it has failed under every president that has tried it and I expect nothing different this time around.
I have a hard time seeing ISIS as that big of a threat to us right now, outside of car bombs and the like in our borders. That is what concerns me and that is what I would focus on preventing.

Then I'd dismantle any further attempts to create/train/fund future groups like it.
Then I'd tell the Federal Reserve and international banking cartel that if they want Syria they'll have to take it themselves.
Then my head would go back and to the left.

This is the real frickup behind our current dilemma. Supporting change just for changes sake is fricking ignorant . Change in Egypt- O no got to change back, Change in Libya- O no Benghazi, Change in Syria- O no ISIS. This bunch of dipshits have no plan just hope and change. And I am 100% certain that we are about to create a bigger monster by putting troops back on the ground in the middle east. I normally am not an Obama basher but goodness this fool refuses to learn from history or his own mistakes.

Why doesn't Obama just send in Seal Team six? I thought they could handle all the world's problems.

since you can't win a war against a group as opposed to a country, I would beef up homeland security as much as possible.

Abandon the Middle East. Let the Arabs kill each other. If anyone messes with Israel, they die.

Obama was criticized for not supporting the rebels in Syria.

Contract it out; private industry would hire the most badass guys on the planet. Make it an incentive type contract; complete eradication of ISIS worldwide would mean a 25% bonus for all.
