he's a recruiter. while he may not be with a team currently, i'm pretty sure that he's visited a lot of louisiana high school players who were recruited by oregon and those likely kids got a free hat or t-shirt or whatever.
and you guys who are threatened by this statement are ridiculous. first off, let's not act like this was a carefully crafted statement that he'd prepared hours beforehand. second, our players loved it when they got their nike pro combat uniforms (errybody loves shiny, new things). third, we're not exactly hemorrhaging players to oregon. fourth, who gives a shite about that team that we dominated at jerry's world, on national television?
