I know some folks plant later, but u always plant mid sept so its comming up during bow season and always had good success. I have planted as early as labor day in years past though. I will be planting the 20th weekend i believe. Anyone else?

One of the first three saturdays in October. Depends on rain forcast.
We use to plant Labor Day every year but moving it back to first pat of october seems to be working better for us.

Planting sept 20 west of brookhaven. Lime and triple 13. Just havent decided what seed yet. Something cheap like rye. Maybe a bag of something from academy with clover mixed in.

We bought 6 - 55 gallon drums of winter wheat to plant this year NW of Brookhaven. I think it was like $300

Some of the people who are thinking about planting soon might want to hold off a little longer, this is the worse year i can ever recall for army worms
