President Barack Obama may seem fatigued after nearly six years in office, but he said in an interview airing Sunday, he considers himself “energized” by what he hopes to accomplish before leaving the White House.

Obama’s hair has grayed, and he’s spending less time worried about optics and more time on the golf course, but that doesn’t mean he’s “exhausted,” as NBC’s Chuck Todd said some have suggested the president might be.[/quote]

The link says he's energized. The Danish ambassador must have been in Wales.

There are a lot of reasons to think he is sick and tired of being POTUS. But he says he's not, so case closed.

Weeks upon weeks of vacation tend to do that.

The perks and amenities that come with the job are awesome as shite and they're still not adequate enough compensation for me to even think about wanting to be President of the United States of America. You'd have to pay me 25-30 billion a year to even be lukewarm to it.

Didn't realize that was possible.

I hate it, but I got the feeling last week that he's been trying to politicize the ISIS situation and using the "hurry-up and wait" strategy to get everybody on his side before the November elections. My suspicions were confirmed yesterday when he revealed there'd be a nationally televised address on ISIS the night of September tenth, and that he's extended the deadline for his immigration reform proposal(s) until after the elections. Of course at that point, even if there is a majority in the Senate and HoR, the media will have probably played immigration down even further to the point that there's less attention on his EO.
