Xpress boat paint flaking/peeling

Anyone else having problems with the paint flaking away on their hull?? Bought a brand new Hyper-lift bay boat, and the paint is peeling badly underneath (and starting up the sides). Dealer says I have to un-rig the hull, then they will send back to Xpress, and after a 3-4 month wait I'll get it back and have to re-rig

I remember a few years ago a guy here had that problem.
Only places mine flaked was on the console and it was small pieces

so you got the most versatile boat in the world and can't use it anywhere?
I'd run all over a bunch of logs and trash the already crap paint job until January. Send it back and have it ready for spring.

Just seems like unnecessary work and inconvenience on my part for having bought a brand new rig..guess shite happens. Should've known it would happen to me

no problems here...I have the camo Xplorer series with the rhino type liner...few scratches on the gunnel but that's the way I hunt and fish it and why I got it...

ya'll still have all your fillings after riding in a chop in those boats?

it's no bay boat if that's what you're asking...buddy of mine got the 22' bay boat and fishes out of Leeville...he seems to like it but I think its because with his new 4 stroke it doesn't burn any fuel...

I think I'd be asking the dealer for their factory rep's name and number...
They need to step up.

Wasn't there something on this issue a while back? Either way, you need to speak to someone ASAP.
Also, look online and see if others are having similar issues, if so you've got 'em. IMO

I'll hold a pecker in my mouth before I let the paint on my aluminum boat keep me from fishing for 3-4 months.
