Poll: What is the worst company still in business?

I nominate Cox, Hertz, and U-Haul - and vote for Cox. All three of these companies have a clear policy of placing the customer dead last and strive to provide the absolute worse possible service possible.

Comcast is much worse than Cox. I didn't even making through their 30 day trial period before canceling my service

Dude really? Where you live?
I have noticed Wendy's customer service has dipped in recent years. 10 years ago, at least in BR - Wendy's had the best service out of the big three burger joints by far. Now they are just about the same in terms of service. The burgers have always been better though.

I'll let you know how Cox does then - I just hooked up cable for football season - and I'm about to disconnect it because they decided to charge me a $60 installation fee they explicitly told me would be waived. I'm sick of their shite. The last time we had a billing dispute it took two phone calls, a dozen emails, two credit reports, a threatened lawsuit, and 3 years for it to finally be fixed.

Charter Cable
Any airline other than Southwest
Any car rental company
Radio Shack, but not for long
They all see the customer as a potential victim to be exploited. Their objective is to extract, through deception, as much money as possible without any concern for a satisfied customer.
Almost all doctors offices: AMAZING how inefficient and inconsiderate they are, thought dentists are the complete opposite in my experience.
Popeyes: It's amazing that they can have such universally poor service and pretty good chicken. The bad service is so consistent I have to wonder whether it's actually corporate policy.

I had never thought of it, but you're right. Popeyes service is universally shite.
Funny enough, the best Popeyes I have eaten at was in the middle east.

If cox was my only option I'd rather give away all my tvs than give them a dollar.
