I guess you think one of the worst offensive performances in championship history was the best we could do?

Is anyone else glad that there is not a "race" component to the current qb situation? That shite gets old quick. Just reading some of the last few posts brings back bad memories.

Too late. You already did.

Um, no I didn't. I'm not arguing this with you for aforementioned reasons. I simply called a spade a spade for you proclaiming the issue to be settled, which is a pretty dumb thing to say about an issue that was obviously hotly and reasonably contested.

Yep. We still have a small vocal part of our fanbase that is very much influenced by the race aspect of these kind of situations.

3) Jennings is GOOD. I think Harris will overtake him. But, Jennings is NOT "settling for scraps"

Last year Jennings was god's gift to man, and the rantards had already anointed him as the next great LSU QB. Today, he's a nothing burger and the 'next guy', Jennings is the anointed one.

People have the attention span of a fruit fly.

By leaving JJ in????

Jefferson gave LSU a better chance to win than Lee.

I could tell you after the 1st three series that JJ was NOT the way to go. Not even giving Lee a chance HURT the team... You never know.. The team might have got a spark seeing Lee come in. There were players on that offense that did not want JJ as the QB.

I just hope the coaches trust these 2 QBs enough to allow for the necessary creativity regarding play-calling.

Right....in the first game absolutely....Lee was reeling....people keep saying Saban had Lee's number and putting him in the NC would have been a disaster....I simply would have liked to have test that theory a bit more than we did...just saying.

You sure argue a lot for someone who is not arguing.

The issue IS settled.

I agree that the issue was hotly contested. The Earth orbits the sun. The Earth is not flat. Jefferson was a better choice than Lee to beat Bama. All issues that were hotly contested, but not one of them was reasonably contested.

after clearly seeing jefferson struggle, I would have liked to have seen jarrett lee and if he stunk it up, zach mettenberger.

i remember in sabans last game coaching LSU he used three different qb's until the offense clicked.

Not really. You're the one who wrote paragraph after paragraph rehashing things that have been beaten into the ground on this site. And after I told you I had no interest in arguing it with you. You've made it abundantly clear that you aren't interested in acknowledging as legitimate any opinion that differs from your own, so...

Wow. You just keep one upping yourself with this crap.

I haven't seen any racial connotations in this thread. If you mean glad that people can't mention race as a possible factor in people's opinion, then sure.

This isn't a binary issue, but some people treat it that way. He is probably somewhere between scraps and god's gift.

Yes. Without question. Miles is going to play/start the QB that he believes gives LSU the best chance of winning.

Guys like you will use hindsight to question his decisions.

Here you go Chewy..

quote:

If I were self-loathing moron like you, I could post gifs of Jarrett Lee interceptions, too. That play wasn't nearly as bad as you idiots try to make it out to be. Jefferson never tucked the ball, but Ware unfortunately turned around at the exact time Jefferson pitched it to him.

Ware is as much to blame as Jefferson, but he didn't have a white backup so there was no outrage.

Yep, that's exactly the stuff I won't miss. Didn't see that post.
