Rap is absolutely atrocious, and I don't get how anyone can call it good music. Music is supposed to be aesthetic, and to be aesthetic, something has to be elegant.
Rap, and especially this type of rap, is not elegant.

No, but if Johnny Cash consistently sang about killing or messing somebody up I would have had my suspicions about HIS character, too.
