So I'm on #8 Purple course at Ft. buhlow(nowhere near the bathrooms Jorconalx), when I step on this guy. Made no effort to strike, so I picked him up. Thinking may be a water snake?

If he's alive you're a lucky fricker.

Although I have to admit I've stepped on copperheads and they stay curled up. I wasn't stupid enough to pick it up though.

Thats either a brown trash bag, or a copperhead.

Heading to the reptile show in Lafayette in a couple hours. Hoping they have a Gaboon viper, but I'd settle for a baby Copperhead.

Good Lord, where to even start here......

1. The words "snake id", couped with a picture of the person asking for the id actually HOLDING THE LIVE SNAKE should NEVER occur.

2. Someone mentioned the size of your golf balls......I'd have to agree. Either that, or the relative lack of size of your brain, or a combo thereof (admittedly, I'm much more scared of a snake than you/most folks).

3. Have we established that this in fact a copperhead?
